(ORAL) The petitioner has challenged an order dated 02.08.2016 issued by the Assistant Director, Directorate of Enforcement, Government of India calling upon him to furnish the following information and documents:- "1. Details of residential/agricultural properties acquired with documentary proof such as transfer deeds, sale deeds held in your name and your family members alongwith documents.

2. Documentary proof of your as well as your family members regarding being NRI or otherwise.

3. Details of NRE/NRO A/cs held by you & your family members.

4. Details of bank accounts held by your family members abroad.

5. Details of inward/outward remittances received/made by you during last 5 years."

The petitioner alleges that some of the information is not within his control and cannot be furnished by him. He also raises a grievance that the respondents have not specified as to who is included within the words "family members". 3.

As of now, all that is sought is information to examine the case. On 08.08.2016, the petitioner replied to the order. The respondents have not taken any action against the petitioner as yet. In the event of the respondents taking any further action, inter alia, on the ground that the petitioner has failed to furnish the information sought by the impugned order dated 02.08.2016, it is always open to the petitioner to challenge the same. At this stage, however, the respondents must clarify the persons they intend including in the words "family members".
