Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.112 dated 23.08.2021, registered at Police Station Sadar Rupnagar, District Rupnagar, under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914.

Status report dated 04.03.2022 by way of affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rupngar, filed in the Registry, is taken on record.

Vide order dated 01.10.2021 passed by this Court, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join investigation.
