**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 59 dated 27.5.2020 registered under Sections 306/34 IPC, Police Station Tallewal, District Barnala (Annexure P-1) and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 26.6.2020 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

As per short reply filed by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendence of Police, CAW&C Barnala, since the complainant party has not supported the prosecution version, the SHO, P.S. Tallewal has prepared the cancellation report and is in process of placing the same before the Illaqa Magistrate.
