*** Nidhi Gupta, J. (Oral) Prayer in the present petition is for quashing of FIR No.58 dated 21.07.2017 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 406, 498-A IPC registered at Police Station Women Ludhiana, District Ludhiana and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on merits.

Learned State counsel states that the abovesaid FIR already stands quashed on the basis of compromise vide order dated 02.02.2024 passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CRM-M No.9989 of 2023. A copy of the said order dated 02.02.2024 is handed over in Court. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that although he has no instructions in this regard, however, is unable to deny the same, and accordingly, states that in view of the statement of learned State counsel, he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition as having been rendered infructuous.

Accordingly, in view of the statements of learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
