*** JASWANT SINGH, J. (ORAL) The petitioner has worked as PRT Teacher on temporary basis in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Chandigarh for the period w.e.f. 20.11.1987 to 30.07.1997. She is stated to have been appointed as Hindi Mistress by the Department of Secondary Education, Punjab on 16/17.07.1997. Her date of superannuation is 07.02.2021. She is inter alia praying for the counting of her previous period towards pensionary benefits. Neither any statutory rules permitting such a relief nor the copy of the judgment in Baldev Singh Dhaliwal versus Union of India and others, CWP No.2582 of 2004 decided on 30.10.2008 has been placed on record to support the plea.

Learned counsel for the State, who was requested to verify the facts, on instructions of Sh. Sukhwinder Singh, Deputy District Education Officer Secondary Education, Hoshiarpur states that the instructions dated 14.05.1986 do not entitle the petitioner to such a relief.
