The petitioners approached this Court challenging the order dated 10.01.2018. It is prayed that the petitioners may not be dispossessed till the fresh demarcation is carried out as per order dated 08.11.2017 passed by respondent No.2.

On 15.02.2018, the following order was passed:- "CM-2111-CWP-2018 C.M.is allowed. Annexure P/5 is taken on record. CWP-1218-2018 States that as per the demarcation report certain unauthorised occupants were found in possession. The petitioners have been forced out of possession but the other persons named therein still continue to enjoy the possession. Notice of motion for 29.05.2018.

CWP-1218-2018 (O&M) -2At this stage, Mr.J.S.Bhandohal, Advocate puts in appearance on behalf of respondents No.5 and 6 and contends that the possession has been taken by the Gram Panchayat. Let him file an affidavit to this extent before the next date of hearing."

Pursuant to the aforesaid order, respondent Nos.5 and 6 have filed the affidavit stating therein that they have handed over possession of the land to the Gram Panchayat.

Keeping in view the aforesaid development, the prayer made in the present petition has been rendered infructuous. Ordered accordingly.
