The petitioner claims himself to be the successful bidder in respect of the agricultural land allegedly leased out by the Gram Panchayat of village Datte Wala. The Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Dharmkot at Kot Ise Khan (for brevity, `the BDPO'), however, has directed the Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat not to give possession to the petitioner and auction the plot by fixing the date and thereafter give the possession to the highest bidder.
In our considered view the writ petition against the above-stated impugned order cannot be entertained. If any auction was held to lease out the land and if the petitioner was the genuine highest bidder, he can produce such documents/record firstly before the BDPO and if that Authority does Meenu 2017.07.04 11:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
