*** Ritu Bahri, J. (Oral) Petitioner is seeking issuance of direction to the respondents to appoint her against vacant posts, which have been filled up by non-eligible candidates by treating them as eligible candidates. Pursuant to advertisement dated 08.11.2012, the petitioner applied against PRT posts in July, 2013. She was issued Roll No 99922109 for verification/scrutiny/interview, which was fixed for 28.01.2014. However, her candidature was not considered as she had passed her JBT in the year 2013.

On a specific query put to learned counsel for the petitioner, he has not been able to explain the delay of 03 years in filing the petition. The final result was declared in the year 2017 and the present petition has been filed now in the year 2020. The present petition is liable to be dismissed as now, even the life of merit list expired.
