CRM-M-48798 of 2019 and CRM-M-32161 of 2020 -210.08.2018, having been registered at Police Station City Panipat, alleging therein the commission of offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 148, 149 and 120B of the IPC. On the last date of hearing, learned State counsel had been asked to take specific instructions as to the exact stage of the trial. Today he submits on instructions from ASI Arvind Kumar, that out of 19 prosecution witnesses 3 have been examined so far. Upon further query, he submits that the petitioners have been in custody for about 3 years and 2 months now.

the petitions are allowed and the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail, subject to their furnishing adequate bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial court.
