This writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuing directions to the respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and to issue her an advance notice in case she is required to join investigation in FIR No. 62 dated 05.07.2020, registered under Section 420 & 406 IPC and Section 20 of the Immigration Act, at Police Station Bhagwantpur, District Roopnagar. Learned counsel for the petitioner admits that the petitioner has not been named as an accused in the aforesaid FIR. However, he contends that the petitioner is being harassed.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, in the considered view of this Court, it would be more appropriate for the petitioner to file an application before the Court of Sessions.

In view of the above, the writ petitioner is relegated to the DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2020.10.15 11:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document remedy, as per law, before the Court of Sessions for grant of appropriate
