The petitioner has approached this Court raising a challenge to the Transfer order dated 16.05.2025 whereby the petitioner has been transferred from the office of Deputy Director Fisheries, Gurgaon (Town-Gurgaon),DDODeputy Director Fisheries, Gurgaon to Director Fisheries, Panchkula, Haryana. 2.

Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that the petitioner is a single mother who is already pursuing litigation in a matrimonial case against her in laws. He contends that the transfer of the petitioner from Gurugram to Panchkula at this juncture would cause an extreme hardship. He submits with vehemence that the post of one Accountant namely Dev Kant Tiwari, who is currently working in District Mahendergarh at VISHAL SHARMA 2025.05.28 16:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

  Narnaul, is likely to fall vacant consequent upon his superannuation on 30.06.2025. Learned Counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, who is present in person, submits that she would not have any objection in case the respondents are directed to consider the claim of the petitioner for being posted on the said post of Accountant, Mahendergarh after the same falls vacant in June, 2025.

Learned State Counsel submits that an appropriate decision with respect to the aforesaid claim shall be taken by the competent authority sympathetically and taking into consideration the totality of the circumstances including the individual hardships that are being faced by the petitioner within a period of one month of submission of representation by the petitioner. 4.

In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is disposed of with no further direction on merits. The respondents, shall however, remain bound by the timelines given by them for adjudication of the representation to be submitted by the petitioner.
