Petitioners seek a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct respondents to appoint petitioner no. 2 on a government job on compassionate grounds as per the State Government policy. According to him, his claim has been rejected vide order dated 15.09.2017. The order, however, is non-speaking.

Learned State counsel at the outset submits that matter shall be examined by respondent no. 1 and a speaking order shall be passed within six weeks.
