Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Petitioner is working as a TB Health Visitor(TBHV) since 19.6.2008 on contract basis in District Hoshiarpur,Punjab under the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP). The said scheme is administered by the Mission Director, National Health Mission-respondent no.3.

Grievance of the petitioner is that he was extended additional charge of another retired contractual worker and therefore, he was entitled to an additional payment upto 10% for having worked over and above his post against the vacancy. The said payment is demanded in view of the norms set up as per policy dated 29.7.2013(P-1). At the time of hearing, it is stated that the petitioner would be satisfied if respondent no.3 is directed to decide petitioner's legal notice dated 8.7.2016(P-3) within a specified time frame. The prayer made being reasonable is accepted. Accordingly, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.3 to decide the claim of the petitioner as set out Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2016.08.30 17:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document in his legal notice dated 8.7.2016(P-3) as well as in the present petition

CWP 17661/2016 within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order alongwith a copy of the present writ petition.
