The petitioners have approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia seeking a mandamus directing the respondents not to demolish the dwelling houses of the inhabitants of Shivalya Colony. Further a writ of certiorari has been sought for quashing the show-cause notices dated 29.07.2016 (Annexure P-13). 2.
At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in pursuance to the show-cause notices dated 29.07.2016 (Annexure P-13), the petitioners have submitted representations dated 29.07.2016 (Annexures P-14 and P-15, respectively) before respondent No.
