**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to make payment of Rs.11,50,000/- on account of supply of iron goods and grass for various development works carried out by the petitioner along with interest.

Petitioner has successfully completed the work assignment without there being any defect in quality of work done. Out of total amount of Rs.14,92,497/-, an amount of Rs.3,49,431/- has been released to the petitioner on 27.06.2022 and the remaining amount of Rs.11,50,000/- is still to be paid by the respondents.

CWP No. 16881 of 2022 -2Petitioner has already represented before respondent No.3 by way of representation dated 12.04.2022. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case its pending representation is directed to be decided by respondent No.3 by passing a speaking order in accordance with law at the earliest. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Ms. Aakanksha, A.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider the pending representation dated 12.04.2022 got issued by the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. If the claim of the petitioner is established with reference to record, then the payment be released to the petitioner forthwith.

If the claim of the petitioner is found to be not sustainable, then a copy of decision be supplied to the petitioner at the earliest.
