Mr. K.K. Chahal, Advocate, for respondents No.1 and 2. **** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondents to consider his case for issuance of passport without imposition of any penalty. Reply on behalf of UOI has been filed in court today. Same is taken on record. Para 11 thereof reads as under:- "That the contents of Para 11 of the writ petition need no reply. However, it is submitted that since on earlier three occasions, there have been an adverse police verification report, a penalty was imposed upon the petitioner o Rs.5,000/-, but the case of the petitioner is being processed without penalty." In view of stand taken by UOI, no further direction is necessary. Petition is hereby disposed of. Case of the petitioner be considered expeditiously preferably within one month.
