Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to open the lock of Gill Marriage Palace, Umarpura, Batala, District Gurdaspur, which was sealed by respondent No.5. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that as per directions issued by this Court, representation dated 09.03.2018 (Annexure P8) was made, but no decision has been taken thereon till now. In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to respondent No.5-Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Batala to look into the representation dated 09.03.2018 (Annexure P8) and take required action thereon, if any, expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
