Mr. Bhan, the learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, states that this petition is identical to the case of Surjit Singh Singla vs. Union Territory, Chandigarh and others, CWP No.18169 of 2015, which we disposed of by our order and judgment dated 31.08.2015.

In view thereof, this petition is disposed of in the same terms including that to enable the petitioner to pursue his remedy against the demand the time to deposit is extended up to the date on which COCP No.1147 of 2015 is taken up for consideration i.e. 21.09.2015. The petitioner shall be entitled to seek an extension of time in this COCP itself.
