-.- AMIT RAWAL J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for petitioners submits that petitioners were appointed as Shift Attendant in 33 KW Sub Station Pabnawa through contractor. Term of service for two years had expired on 5.3.2019 and now they are working directly under respondent Nigam. Vide letter dated 27.03.2019, XEN OP Division, UHBVNL, Pundri, District Kaithal sought sanction of three posts of Shift Attendant and one Sweeper from Superintending Engineer, OP Circle, UHBVNL, Kaithal and Superintending Engineer further requested Chief Engineer (OP), UHBVNL for sanctioning of aforementioned posts through outsourcing policy. Even petitioners have not been paid their salaries w.e.f. 06.03.2019. In this regard, representation dated 5.7.2019 (Annexure P-8) has also been submitted.
I am of the view that instead of calling upon State, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.3 to decide representation (Annexure P-8), contents of which are self-explanatory that petitioners are still working as Shift Attendants but they have not PANKAJ KUMAR 2019.07.18 13:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP No.18534 of 2019 (O&M) -2been paid salary owing to non-sanctioning of posts despite rendering services within one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass a speaking order with regard to prayer made in representation i.e. adjustment of petitioners in respondent Nigam, sanctioning of posts as aforementioned or payment of their salary due w.e.f. 5.3.2019 in accordance with law.
