Petitioner was serving as Social Science Master and a major punishment of compulsory retirement from service was imposed upon him on 27.9.2017 (P-10) passed by the Director,Secondary Education,Punjab. The petitioner had thus filed the present petition challenging the charge sheet dated 23.6.2016 (P-1), inquiry report dated 19.5.2017 (P-6) and the punishment order dated 27.9.2017 (P-10).

At the time of hearing,counsel prays for withdrawal of the present petition on the ground that the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner has been decided in July 2018 and as such petitioner wants to challenge the said order as well.
