The petitioner will have no cause for complaint through a writ petition for electric installations which are said to have been made on his property. The provisions of the Telegraphs Act which are applicable for laying transmission lines provide for a Forum before the District Magistrate to stake a claim or objection and any such objection or claim will be addressed by the District Magistrate and he is competent to pass such an appropriate order. This issue has been considered by this Court in Kanwar Singh Vs. Union of India 2011(4) PLR 65.
