Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of order dated 27.02.2019 passed by the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge/Judge Special Court, Jalandhar (Annexure P-5), whereby, non-bailable warrants have been issued against the petitioner in FIR No.161 dated 06.08.2018 registered under Section 21 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station Adampur, District Jalandhar (Annexure P-3). CRM-M-29501 of 2019 {2} After arguing for sometime, counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court, join the proceedings and file a petition for grant of regular bail. Request of counsel for the petitioner has been considered.
In case, the petitioner surrenders before the trial Court within a period of four weeks from today and moves a petition seeking grant of regular bail, the trial Court shall make an endeavour to decide the petition within a period of one week of its filing. Disposed of.
