KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing due to prevailing situation of COVID-19.

The petitioner has filed this petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ or order directing respondent No.2 to make payments amounting to Rs.40 lacs (approximately) demanded vide notice dated 16.04.2019 (Annexure P-15) for the work of construction of ANM/GNM School and Hostel at MKH Patiala, allotted vide work order dated 27.04.2012 (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the petitioner states that for the relief, which has been claimed in the present writ petition, the petitioner has served the respondents with a legal notice dated 16.04.

2019 (Annexure P-15), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied at this stage, in case, a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide his legal notice by passing an appropriate speaking order. Without commenting upon the merits of the case or about the entitlement of the petitioner for the relief, which has been claimed by him in VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2020.10.

CWP-16846-2020 -2the legal notice dated 16.04.2019 (Annexure P-15), the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice (Annexure P-15), within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. In case, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary relief after the decision of the legal notice, the same should also be paid to him within two months, thereafter. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of without commenting upon the merits of the case.
