G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioner seeks directions for the grant of deemed date of appointment as has been given to other appointed candidates in pursuance of the same selection process. Similarly, the benefit of seniority and notional pay fixation at par with the candidates/employees who had joined their service prior to the petitioner and being junior to the petitioner as per the merit list prepared at the time of selection pertaining to advertisement dated 22.07.1987 is sought. The prayer is based in view of the order dated 15.06.2015 (Annexure P-5) passed by respondent no. 2 and order passed in a bunch of cases, lead case of which is CWP No. 24527 of 2013, Dharam Singh vs. State of Haryana and others dated 30.09.2015 (Annexure P-7). Counsel further submits that a representation dated 10.09.

2015 (Annexure P-6) has already been served upon Block Education Officer, Odhan, Sirsa regarding the said aspect but the same has not been decided. Counsel further submits that he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent no. 2 to decide the said legal notice within a fixed time frame as Shivani Gupta 2017.07.

CWP No. 14315 of 2017 he is the competent authority.

Without commenting on the merits of the case or the entitlement of the petitioner for the abovesaid relief and keeping in view the fact that similarly situated persons are stated to have been given the said benefit of the deemed dated from 12.04.1990, the present writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 2 to take a decision on the said representation dated 10.09.2015 (Annexure P-6) within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. In case the petitioner is entitled for the said benefit, the order will be given effect expeditiously. Needless to say if the benefit is to be declined, a reasoned order be passed and the same be conveyed to the petitioner. 21.07.2017 (G.S.
