(Oral) The applicant-wife has filed the present application for seeking transfer of the petition under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act i.e. DMC/591/2024, titled 'Rupinder Pal Singh Vs. Sukhjinder Kaur', filed by the respondent-husband, pending in the Family Court, Bathinda and she seeks transfer of the same to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Sri Muktsar Sahib.

In pursuance of the notice issued, respondent made appearance through counsel and filed reply.

Learned counsel for the parties heard.

TA-794-2024 Even though, the present transfer application has been filed for transfer of the divorce petition, filed by the respondent, but however, perusal of the application reveals that very sketchy facts have been mentioned in the same. The material facts, which have bearing on the decision of the transfer application, have not been disclosed. The date of marriage of the parties to the lis has not been disclosed. Even though, there is mention of two daughters residing with the applicant, but however, their age, has not been disclosed. During the course of submissions, the counsel for the applicant has submitted that one daughter has attained majority. Further also, it is submitted that the applicant is working as a Teacher, but however, this fact also, do not find mention specifically, in the transfer application. In view of the aforesaid fact situation, the transfer application is hereby dismissed.
