In the present petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent corporation to remove the anomaly and grant the service benefit of 16 year pay scale to the petitioner. Although the petitioner has retired but he is praying that his salary should have been stepped up at par with his junior. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter is already pending before the Department and no decision has been taken on the issue. It is also the case of the petitioner that in fact a representation dated 15.06.2024 (Annexure P-9) has also been submitted by the petitioner, but no action has been taken by the respondents so far. In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representation dated 15.06.2024 (Annexure P-9), within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
