**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) As per stand taken by the respondent-State, contract in favour of respondent No.3 has lapsed and respondent No.3 is no more the organizer for conduct of cattle fair in the State of Punjab.

Learned State counsel submits that no new incumbent has been appointed so far.

This writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to file fresh petition in case, new incumbent is PRINCE SAINI 2022.08.09 16:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No.18934 of 2015(O&M)  appointed in place of respondent No.3 and the same process is adopted by respondent No.3 in the context of charging penalty under the garb of Section 20 of the Punjab Cattle Fair (Regulation) Act, 1967. The present course would be just and appropriate in the facts and circumstances of the case. It is made clear that the ultimate challenge, if any, made by the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law. Disposed of with the liberty aforesaid.
