Challenge in the writ petition is to the order dated 5.11.2013 (Annexure P13) passed by the Chief Canal Officer, Panchkula. Counsel submits that a direction was given by the Chief Canal Officer on 5.11.2013. Thereafter, matter has been lingering on and no final decision has been taken.

Under the circumstances, it is directed that Chief Canal Officer, Panchkula shall endeavour to decide the issue expeditiously in any case not later than two months.
