MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU, J Present petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of bail pending trial to the petitioner in case FIR No.97 dated 05.06.2023, under Sections 18, 21, 25, 27A, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985; Sections 25, 27 of the Arms Act, 1959; and Sections 467, 468, 471 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station, Gharinda, District Amritsar.

After arguing for some time when this Court was not inclined to accept the prayer, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, wishes to withdraw the petition, "at this stage".
