**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioners alleged that petitioners are living in live-in relationship. Petitioner No.1 is 18 years of age and petitioner No.2 is aged about 20 years and 7 months. Petitioner No.2 has not acquired marriageable age of 21 years. They feel reasonable apprehension qua their lives and personal liberties being violated at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 6. Precisely for the grievance in question, the petitioners have already moved representation dated 06.09.2021 to respondent No.2 through courier. CRWP-8617-2021 -2note that the address given in the representation as well as in the courier receipt is of house No.1523, Sector 45 Burail, Chandigarh, where petitioner No.2 claims to be residing. Mr. Shashank Bhandari, Addl PP, UT Chandigarh appears on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 and on instructions from SI Vijay Kumar submits that the Police has verified the place of abode of the petitioners and they are not found residing on the given address. According to Police verification petitioner No.2 once resided on the aforesaid address on rent. Be that as it may, respondent No.2 may proceed to decide the representation in accordance with law. Learned counsel for the petitioners on instructions submits that petitioners would appear before respondent No.2 on 16.09.2021 at 11:00 AM, thereupon respondent No.2 may record their statements. If the threat perception of the petitioners is found to be worth acceptance, then necessary corrective steps be taken in accordance with law.
