The grievance of the petitioner in the present case is that he has been working as a driver in the Excise & Taxation Department since 2013. Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the respondents have, vide impugned letters dated 28.07.2020 and 06.10.2020, Annexures P-7 and P-8 respectively, written for reduction of salary of the petitioner treating him in the category of 'Transport Services'.
