(Oral) This order shall dispose of CWP Nos. 19700 and 20707 of 2014 , as according to the learned counsel for the parties, the issue involved therein is identical. Relevant facts are being extracted from CWP No. 19700 of 2014.

The present writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari, Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, directing respondent No.3 - Municipal Corporation, Panchkula, not to destroy the well maintained green belt in the area adjoining to House No.56-P, Sector 7, Panchkula, as the area has been earmarked as green area in the layout plan. 3.

Upon notice of motion having been issued, reply on behalf of respondent No.3 has been filed in the writ petition, wherein, in Para No.5, it JAWALA RAM 2015.04.06 18:52 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No. 19700 of 2014 - 2 - has been stated that the green belt is intact and there is no encroachment on the green belt. It was submitted by learned counsel for respondent No.3, that in case any change is required to be made in the green belt, the same shall only be done in accordance with law.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the aforesaid statement of learned counsel for respondent No.3, the writ petitions have been rendered infructuous.

Accordingly, the present writ petition(s) are disposed of as infructuous.
