**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus for release of its dues for the work done.
Petitioner has elaborately mentioned the allocation of work by the respondent- department and completion thereof by the petitioner to the entire satisfaction of the competent authority.
Grievance of the petitioner is that despite the work done, dues of the petitioner have not been released in time, despite serving number of representations and legal notice. At this stage, learned counsel draws the attention of the Court to the legal notice dated 09.07.2022 and submits that JYOTI SHARMA 2022.08.04 05:07 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CWP No. 17084 of 2022 -2at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case its pending legal notice is directed to be decided by respondent No.4 by passing a speaking order in accordance with law at the earliest.
Notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court, Ms. Aakanksha, A.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to consider the pending legal notice dated 09.07.2022 got issued by the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. If the claim of the petitioner is established with reference to record, then the payment be released to the petitioner forthwith.
If the claim of the petitioner is found to be not sustainable, then a copy of decision be supplied to the petitioner at the earliest.
