(ORAL) Instant writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to allow release and exhibition of Punjabi movie "Rupinder Gandhi - the Gangster..?" scheduled to be released in cinemas on 11.09.2015, being violative of the fundamental rights of the petitioner.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner at some length. Petition is lacking in many aspects. Even pleadings are not complete. No reference has been made to the provisions of the Cinematography Act, 1952. Under Section 3 of the Act, Board of Film Certification is constituted, which issues certificate and after that film is cleared by the Censor Board.
