Mr. Harish Nain, AAG, Haryana *** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) The petitioner competed for selection to the post of Junior Draftsman in the physically challenged/handicapped category. He qualified the written examination and obtained 110 marks. However, in the schedule of interview published by the respondent-Commission, his name and roll number was not reflected. Whereas the candidates who had secured lesser marks than the petitioner in the written examination (96 marks), were called for interview.

Today, learned State counsel has produced the result of the petitioner in a sealed cover, which has been opened by the Reader of this Court. As per result, the petitioner has secured 125 marks and the last candidate has secured 116 marks.

In view of the above factual position, this petition is being allowed and a direction is issued to respondent to issue appointment letter to the petitioner for the post of Junior Engineer under physically challenged/handicapped category, within a period of four weeks.
