 This writ petition is directed against the order passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal vacating the interim order passed earlier staying meeting of the DPC in the Original Application filed by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that in pursuance to the aforesaid, the Departmental Promotion Committee was convened and respondent No.6 has been selected and accorded promotion. The issues raised for adjudication are still pending before the Tribunal in the Original Application. However, in view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this writ petition challenging the order passed in the interregnum is rendered infructuous and accordingly stands dismissed.
