The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer for issuance of an appropriate writ or order in the nature of certiorari/mandamus for quashing the order (Annexure P-8) whereby respondent No.5 has been promoted to the post of Branch Manager in spite of clear instructions of respondent No.1 vide letter dated 20.02.2013 which clearly depicted for the reservation to the post of Scheduled Caste/Backward Classes under the service i.e. as per instructions, no employee belongs to reserve category after 01.03.1996 is to be allowed the benefit of accelerated seniority and other consequential benefits over his seniors.
