The petitioner is a resident of village Kheri Raiwali, District Kaithal. His grievance is that the entire land reserved as 'Charand' has been put to auction by the Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat on 08.05.2017 and no land is now left where residents of the village can take their domestic animals/cattles. It is further alleged that the entire land has been put to auction without preparing any utilisation plan. The petitioner and other residents have made a complaint to the Deputy Commissioner on 13.05.2017 (Annexure P-5). Finding no action on the said complaint, the instant writ petitioner has been filed. It is also alleged that last year also the land reserved for 'Charand' was auctioned and despite directions issued by this Court on May 27, 2016, in CWP No.10781 of 2016 (Sanjay Kumar vs The Meenu 2017.07.18 09:58 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

[2] Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the nature of the allegations as we have not called upon the respondents at this stage, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal, to consider the above-stated grievance of the petitioner and ensure that necessary remedial action is taken by the authorities concerned (including by the Gram Panchayat), within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
