GURVINDER SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) None has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Even on the last date of hearing, none had appeared to represent the petitioner. The petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.55 dated 8.6.2019 under Sections 376, 506 IPC, Police Station City-II, Malerkotla, District Sangrur. Since serious offences including offence punishable under Section 376 IPC which is non-compoundable are alleged to have been committed, this Court does not deem it appropriate to invoke power under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for the purpose of quashing of the FIR. The petition as such is dismissed.
