This is a petition under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of proceedings against the respondent for violation of the order dated 14.02.2020 passed in CWP-4068-2020, operative portion of which reads as under :
" In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and the claim being made by the petitioner, respondent No. 2 is directed to decide the representations dated 12.06.2018 and 17.07.2019 (Annexures P-3 and P-4 respectively) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. COCP-2188-2020 -2for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to him within a period of next three months." 2.
Not only has the representation of the petitioner been decided, even the amount due has since been released to him. 3.
In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt petition and the same is disposed off. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off. Needless to say, if the petitioner has any grievance he would always be at liberty to avail his remedies as available in law.
