**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of order dated 26.06.2014 (Annexure P-12), charge-sheet dated 14.05.2012 (Annexure P-11) and inquiry report dated 16.09.2014 (Annexure P-14). At the outset, learned State counsel submits that vide order dated 20.12.2022, the departmental proceedings pending against the petitioner had been dropped and as a consequence thereof, vide order dated 03.01.2023, the petitioner has been reinstated in service. Thus, the present petition has become infructuous.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid fact and prays for withdrawal of the present petition, with a liberty to raise objection, in case, any cause of action still persists. Learned State counsel has no objection to the aforesaid limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
