This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India in the nature of mandamus directing the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and to restrain the private respondents No.5 to 8 not to harass or interfere in the peaceful life of the petitioner.

It is stated in the petition that the petitioner has preferred a representation/complaint dated 09.04.2025 (Annexure P-5) to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Rural Amritsar but no action has been taken so far.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Rural Amritsar to consider and decide the representation/complaint 09.04.2025 (Annexure P-5) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
