(Oral) The petitioner in the present writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is seeking quashing of the demand dated 28th July, 2016 (Annexure P-8), issued by respondent No.1, whereby, the petitioner was required to pay the demand of ` 21,73,918/-.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to first approach the concerned Authorities by filing a detailed and comprehensive representation assailing the issue of demand notice dated 28.07.2016 (Annexure P-8). He, however, prayed that a time bound direction be issued to the said respondent-authorities to decide the same expeditiously. 4.
Dismissed as withdrawn. It is, however, observed that in case such a representation is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be decided by the respondent authorities by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from its filing.
