***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents to release his arrears of salary, as per particulars pleaded in the petition. 2.

None appeared on behalf of the petitioner on the previous date of hearing, owing to which the Registry was directed to intimate the learned counsel for the petitioner. Office report reveals that the learned counsel has been intimated by way of e-mail. 3.

When taken up for adjudication today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It seems that by sheer effluxion of time and pendency of the writ petition for more than 9 years before this Court, either it has been rendered infructuous or even otherwise the petitioner seems to have lost interest in pursuing the same.

Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
