(ORAL) This is a petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari quashing the orders dated 28.12.2018 (Annexure P-13), dated 08.05.2019 (Annexure P15), dated 24.05.2022 (Annexure P-18); as also seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari quashing the report of inquiry officer dated 01.10.2018 (Annexure P-10) and quashing of the charge sheet dated 08.12.2016 (Annexure P-7); as also seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner back in service w.e.f 28.12.2018, i.e.

the date on which he was dismissed from service along with all consequential benefits, as also seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner on proportionality of punishment and award a lesser punishment then dismissal, removal or compulsory retirement from service to the petitioner; and as also seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and decide the petition dated 15.06.2022 (Annexure P-19) filed by the petitioner under Rule 30 of VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2022.08.

CWP-16929-2022 -2Central Reserve Police Force Rules, 1955, which is pending before respondent No.2, in a time bound manner.

At the outset, the counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage the petitioner would be satisfied if respondent No.2 is directed to dispose of the petition (Annexure P-19), within some time bound frame. Notice of motion.

Ms. Anita Balyan, Sr. Panel Counsel for Union of India, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-UOI and has submitted that the Union of India is not averse to expeditious disposal of grievance of the petitioner. In view of the above, respondent No.2 is directed to take a conscious decision upon the petition (Annexure P-19) filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
