IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH Civil Writ Petition No. 19200 of 2015 Date of Decision: 1.8.2016 Jagmail Singh .....Petitioner Vs.

State of Punjab and others .....Respondents CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK Present :

Mr. N.S. Dandiwal, Advocate for the petitioner.

Mr. B.M. Vinayak, DAG, Punjab.

**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, fairly states that so far as release of grant-in-aid in favour of the Gram Panchayat is concerned, needful has already been done, during the pendency of the present writ petition. In this view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not intend to press this petition, at this stage. However, he prays for leaving the question of non implementation of guidelines (Annexure P-2), at the hands of the State, open. In view of the abovesaid statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, present writ petition is disposed of, leaving the abovesaid question open.
