(Oral) The petitioners herein who were initially appointed as Home Guards have sought re-employment to the said post by relying upon an appointment letter as has been given to one Ajit Singh son of Chanan Singh whose services were terminated along with the petitioners. In this regard, the petitioners have already served a legal notice on 12.05.2017 (Annexure P-5), however, till date the same has not been decided. However, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners limits his prayer for early consideration and decision on the legal notice dated 12.05.2017 (Annexure P-5) served by the petitioners upon the respondents. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 12.05.2017 (Annexure P-5) served by the petitioners upon the respondents by passing a speaking Neetu Rani 2017.07.18 12:01 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
