Learned counsel submits that the pay of the petitioner has not been revised as per letter dated 23.12.2011, Annexure P-1, to which he is entitled to in terms of the judgments in A.P. Sharma and Others vs. State of Punjab and Others, CWP-25733-2012, decided on 22.10.2013 and State of Punjab and Others vs. A.P. Sharma and Others, LPA-352-2014, decided on 31.08.2016 as also the letters dated 27.06.2017 and 04.07.2019, Annexures P-5 and P-6 respectively, regarding which, a legal notice dated 08.01.2025, Annexure P-7, has been served upon respondents, however, the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, on instructions prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made. 2.
In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 08.01.2025, within a period of 6 months, which this MOHIT 2025.05.
CWP-15108-2025 (O&M) -2Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith.
