Prayer in the present petition, filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.67 dated 28.04.2025, registered under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 118(1), 191(3), 190, 117(2) and 118(2) of the BNS, 2023 at Police Station Mullanpur, District SAS Nagar, Mohali.

Vide order dated 23.05.2025, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 23.05.2025, petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute.

Status report by way of affidavit of Mohit Kumar Agarwal, PPS, Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Mullanpur, District SAS Nagar (Mohali), has been filed, which is taken on record. Learned State counsel, on instructions, has affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further investigation.

At this stage, Mr. Simranjeet Singh, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the complainant, today and has filed Vakalatnama, which is taken on record. He has opposed the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above, interim order dated 23.05.2025 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 482
