The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, 1950 seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for setting aside the impugned order dated 11.05.2017 (Annexure P-5) passed by the respondent No.2.

Pursuant to the order passed on the petition preferred by the petitioner, the respondents had rejected the claim and had also referred that there is an arbitration clause for resolution of any dispute between the parties. Learned counsel for the petitioner, thus, contends that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition so as to take recourse to the remedies available to him in accordance with law including the contract/arbitration proceedings.
